Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech Zagora through the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou Ouarzazate Draa Valley

We start from Marrakech before 8:00 in our superior class air conditioned vehicle. On our way over the Atlas Mountains we have a stop at the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, where you can freely explore the Kasbah. Note that there is not an entrance fee to enter the Kasbah and you are not obliged to hire a guide.

After the break we continue our trip to Ouarzazate (The Gateway to the Desert), where many Hollywood movies being located and filmed here.

There are 2 opportune times to visit Ouarzazate on this tour. The tour allows for time for a visit of Ouarzazate on either day 1 or day 2, depending upon the schedule. It is possible to visit the Atlas film studios during the tour, subject to time. The small cost of about 3.00 euros entrance to the studios is not included in the cost of the tour. Entry to the Studios is voluntary.

Then we continue our afternoon trip through the Draa Valley, where we visit beautiful Oasis and further on to the Desert town of Zagora with many opportunities for new exploration and exciting visits. At the end of today’s journey we meet our camels to take us to our Berber desert camp in Zagora. Our stay here includes accommodation in traditional Berber tents, evening meal and breakfast the following morning.

Day 2: Zagora desert camp to Marrakech through the Draa Valley to Ouarzazete over the Atlas Mountains

The next day camels will take us for the return trip back to Zagora. Then we enjoy our journey back through the Draa Valley to Ouarzazete over the Atlas Mountains. We arrive back to Marrakech around 18:00hrs or 19:00hrs.
